Mijn Amsterdamse klokgeveltje uit de 17de eeuw had een grote beurt nodig. Wegens eerder opgedane goede ervaringen met Heym kregen zij de klus. Behalve schilderwerk was er veel timmerwerk aan kozijnen, restauratie van de oude voordeur en vervanging van een monumentaal venster. Ook nog 't afbeitelen en opnieuw aanbrengen van stucwerk op de gevel en die daarna van 'n nieuw huidje is voorzien. Natuurlijk dook er allerlei onverwacht meerwerk op tijdens het werk. Dit werd steeds overlegd, geoffreerd (soms mondeling) en binnen het aangegeven tijdvak uitgevoerd. Vakmensen uit buiten - en binnenland, steeds bereikbare - en proactieve contactpersonen zorgden voor een vlotte afhandeling van het werk. Kortom een veelzijdig en zeer professioneel bedrijf en een stralend resultaat!

Onze ervaring was heel positief. We heben in mei vorig jaar offerte aangevraagd. We ontvingen een goede offerte, waar we ja op hebben gezegd. Vervolgens konden wij door werkzaamheden van onze VvE pas heel laat plannen. Wijnands (zo heette het nog toen wij dit aanvroegen) ging daar heel erg goed mee om. Uiteindelijk kon er pas februari dit jaar geschilderd worden, maar ze hebben toch de offerte gehouden zoals die was. Wij hadden een kleuradvies bij iemand anders aangevraagd. Wijnands heeft ons heel erg geholpen om dat te verbeteren. Dat was nodig. De adviezen waren supergoed. Wat ons echt verraste was dat ze dan de muur in de nieuwe kleur 'opzette' (1 keer schilderen), en dat we dan alsnog anders hadden kunnen kiezen. Dat was overigens niet nodig. Het werk is erg goed uitgevoerd, het resultaat is schitterend, boven onze (toch al vrij hoge) verwachtingen. Ook was het team van drie schilders heel prettig. Hoewel wij tijdens het schilderwerk in een ander huis zaten, hadden we natuurlijk regelmatig contact. De schilders zelf kwamen uit het oostblok, maar mocht je daar al vooroordelen over hebben (hadden wij niet) dan zouden ze snel verdwijnen: echte vakmensen die niet alleen heel goed en zorgvuldig werkten maar alles heel schoon hebben opgeleverd. Wat ook goed werkte was dat Simon van Wijnands de regie had. Hij maakte duidelijke dat we alle vragen, opmerkingen of wat dan ook aan hem moesten stellen. Dat vond ik geruststellend want dan heb je een aanspreekpunt. Dat werkt het beste. Een dikke tien voor het uitgevoerde werk en het proces.

Each window is custom-made to fit your property perfectly, ensuring high quality and quick installation. We use mahogany wood for all parts—a stable, solid wood species. How do we install a tilt-and-turn window?
At Heym, you can choose to replace just the window or the entire frame. To preserve the historical and authentic character of your property, we carefully remove the architraves and window sections before installing the new, custom-made window. If the original frame is still in good condition, the space used for the weights of the sliding window is repurposed to fit the new frame. The old parts are then adjusted to match the new tilt-and-turn window. Finally, we insulate any gaps and provide a flawless finish. This approach ensures that the appearance of your sliding window is preserved.

Warranty conditions
To guarantee the promised quality, we offer a 10-year warranty on window frames and windows. This warranty covers issues such as water and wind tightness and color adhesion of the frames. We also provide a five-year warranty on the glazing, covering problems like condensation or dirt between double panes. Hardware and fittings are covered by a two-year warranty.
Permits
Maintaining the appearance of your property is always important. For listed buildings, this is not only desired but often mandatory. At Heym, we ensure that the appearance of your property remains unchanged. However, it’s important to know in advance which activities may require a permit for your property.
