Suzanne from Amsterdam
They delivered great work. They worked nicely, for any extra repairs and work they checked in to see if it was okay with me first, I thought this was very nice. They worked very tidily, cleaned everything up and didn't leave any trash behind. Very nice painters!

Why clean facade?
Dirty facades are not just an aesthetic issue; they can also have serious consequences for your home’s condition. A facade can become dirty from various factors, such as mold and salt deposits. Algae and moss trap moisture and can infiltrate the masonry—sometimes even reaching the interior of your home. This moisture can lead to frost damage in cold weather. To prevent damage (and costs), regular facade cleaning is necessary. Plus, it’s always great when your home becomes the street’s showpiece again.

Projects
Facade cleaning by sandblasting
One of the methods we use is sandblasting, also known as “torbo blasting”—a gentle form of sandblasting that is less harmful to your facade compared to traditional sandblasting. With this technique, a mixture of water and abrasive material is sprayed onto the facade. The pressure and amount used are manually adjusted depending on the fragility of the stone being treated. It’s an ideal method for historical properties, as it takes the delicate nature of aged stones into consideration, guaranteeing a lasting authentic look.
Wall cleaning by pressure cleaning
The mildest method we offer is high-pressure washing. Using warm water under high pressure, we remove moss, dirt, smoke stains, or graffiti from exterior walls. No chemicals are involved, making this cleaning method ideal for historic buildings with their more porous, delicate stones.
Impregnation of facades
Prevention is better than cure—a cliché, but a true one. Addressing severe moisture problems can be extensive, while prevention is relatively straightforward. The solution? Impregnating the exterior facade with a water-repellent agent, also known as hydrophobing. We use products from Sigma—a colorless, water-based impregnating agent suitable for both dry and damp walls.
Before impregnation, we carefully inspect the facade for cracks and fissures, which are then professionally restored. After applying the impregnating agent, it penetrates the wall, and any remaining gaps or cracks are sealed, ensuring maximum protection. The wall becomes not only water-repellent but also resistant to moss, algae, and salt deposits. That’s sustainable quality.
